This school is not good parents pls do not put your kids in here my kid keeps getting yelled at for no reason and the principals are strict and some teachers don’t care about what they think

I am a parent of a child who is autistic, second day of leaving my child at the school at the front door with no one there to guide them inside the classroom. That worries me as it is day 2. Day one we were able to drop off our child to class directly, you think a 5 year old knows where to go? On the day of meet the teacher, they started late- okay, needed to get people settled in. Then we go over title something and maybe attendance but it was more of funds per student, seeing qualifications of all personnel which is new to me because when I worked as an attendance clerk back in 2017-2021 I never had that. They rush through many parts of that night, it was so disorganized where they did not let certain age groups go ahead first to their respective destinations and everyone was everywhere making it hard for those with disabilities like myself to manage. They I think are understaffed because I saw the assistant principal helping at the desks where parents were getting their students classroom information to “meet the teacher”. When I went to get mine, I got the wrong class the first time and had to go back to the office again to get the correct one. I understand there was an issue with registering my. Hold on a class not that I had not completed registration because I did, twice, serious lack of understanding or knowledge or even communication at that school between support staff, maybe even teachers who don’t know and are depending on support staff for direction. That trickles down the line to our kids. I’m considering taking my child out and put some place else. Maybe it might go better but it’s a risk I have to take down the road.

Alot of bullying going around and bringing it up to the principal or teachers doesn't resolve anything.

This school failed my son at every meaningful level. He has ADHD, significant emotional regulation challenges, and social difficulties. What he needed was structure paired with understanding, consistent behavioral support, and adults who could distinguish disability related behaviors from willful defiance. What he got instead was a rigid, demerit driven system that treated his symptoms as moral or disciplinary failures. Behaviors rooted in ADHD and emotional dysregulation triggered demerits and consequences rather than real accommodations or skill building. Though their on site special education teacher is wonderful the truth remains that Catholic schools just aren't equipped to help kids like my son. Social struggles and emerging distress were not met with the kind of proactive support a child in crisis needs. On his last day at this school, he was having a panic attack in front of the office with two teachers standing there staring at him with no emotional reaction at all, not the compassion I expect from a Catholic institution. The result of this whole two year ordeal was frustration, depression and a child who increasingly felt like he didn’t belong in the very place that claimed to form him in faith and character. A Catholic school has a particular responsibility here. It is supposed to see the whole child, body, mind, and soul and respond with both truth and mercy. In practice, the emphasis fell heavily on compliance and appearance of order while the actual needs of my neurodivergent child went largely unmet. There were children whose behaviors went un-punished and my child began to see himself as the bad one, the one with the target on his back. They kicked him out, one month before the end of school when we already told them we weren't. returning the next year. If your child is neurodivergent, you should know what you're walking into. If your child can sit still, follow every rule the first time, and never show emotional struggle, this environment may work for you. If your child is complex, intense, or needs real differentiation and relational support, do not expect this school to rise to the occasion. We paid for an education that was supposed to partner with us in raising a whole person. What we received was a system that repeatedly punished the very challenges it was unequipped to address. I do not recommend this school for any family whose child does not fit the narrow mold of quiet, compliant, and easily managed. My son deserved better.
