"They would like an open park for the dogs to play. Also, they wouldnt like how small the sidewalks are in certain areas. "

"Dont pick up after the dog smells its something thats bothering from the smell . I would just only visit and not live area needs to clear the garbage. Sanitation needs to work extra in this area "

"They’d like to see other neighbors walking their pets. Neighbors don’t usually talk to each other and there’s very few patches of grass for dogs to walk on. I’m in Barclay and parson and that’s how it is here. There are other parts of Flushing which are real nice and better maintained. All in all I feel safe in flushing, more so than most other parts of New York. So you will enjoy walking your pet peacefully. Also there are barely any rats. In 3 years I’ve only come across four at most here in flushing and I walk everyday. Do you don’t have to worry about your pet getting a disease that way. Beware though of the endless spits everywhere. It’s gross "

"Nice area. Gardens cared for, very quiet. Clean streets, older population. Close to city and suburbs. Walking distance to supermarket, churches etc"

"Best School district in NYC..and wonderful parks for recreation. multicultural neighborhood.with a low crime rate festivals great places to eat!!"

"Block parties and parades were part of what made Flushing great in the 90s. You don’t see these as much now but they would be great to bring back."
