8/10Calificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresThis school is known for how bad they have been with special education. There’s an effort to keep kids with disabilities segregated from general activities and old view of neurodiversity. If you are a parent of a a kid with disabilities you will have to find an advocate for your kid to be included in general class and still having awful high rates of restraints and isolation as their way to help kids with strong emotions and complex behaviors with IEPs. NACalificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresMixed. Ended on a sour note due to very weak, almost detrimental placement program for middle school. Very nice physical plant can distract from problem areas. School encourages elitism; a few families have too much influence.Parent Revisar8y ago10 Reseñas - Holy Spirit Preparatory School

NACalificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresA Sweet School with a Big Divide Between the Lower and Upper GradesHoly Spirit is a sweet little school, and I believe the preschool is wonderful. The elementary school is also lovely, with kind teachers and a warm environment. I would recommend the preschool through 5th grade without hesitation.Unfortunately, my experience with the middle and high school has been very different. In my opinion, the school is significantly overpriced for the overall experience, facilities, and quality of some staff members. I feel the tuition would be much more reasonable closer to the $15,000 range. The administration has also been one of my biggest frustrations. For such a small school that is actively trying to attract and retain students, I have found the administration to be surprisingly difficult to communicate with and, at times, unnecessarily rude. Having experienced both public and private schools in different parts of the country, the lack of responsiveness from administration at Holy Spirit has been the most disappointing. There are certainly wonderful people at the school, and I don’t want that to get lost in this review. However, I think families should go into the upper grades with their eyes open. My strongest recommendation would be preschool through 5th grade, but I would seriously consider other options once your child reaches middle school.Overall, Holy Spirit has a warm and special community in the younger grades, but I don’t believe the middle and high school experience currently justifies the cost of tuition.Parent Revisar1mo ago81 Reseñas - Holy Innocents Episcopal School

NACalificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresAttended there as an alum. Was going through a hard time and the school offered no support. Instead, admin decided that it was best to get their counselor to orchestrate an elaborate plan to breakup me and my current boyfriend at the time in a very public setting during school hours. The counselor and the boyfriend had been drafting this plan for months over email. Admin stood by her decision to put me through this traumatic experience despite the fact that it was extremely unprofessional to involve herself in any way. This led to my eventual expulsion junior year. This was extremely traumatic and humiliating for me. I was treated as a threat by teachers, admin, and even my friends. You may not believe my experience or think I am a bot or a resentful person, but this experience was in fact, truly real and essentially ruined my high school career. The lesson I learned from this school was that if you are going through a tough emotional time as a minor, this school will not hesitate to band together to do anything in its power to kick you out of their bubble to protect their pristine image. Do yourself a favor and never trust them. Go to Marist, Lovett, or Mt, Vernon instead. Go to a school that will truly protect its students from harm instead of doing the harming.Other Revisar3mo ago15 Reseñas - Shreiner Academy

NACalificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresShreiner is an excellent school! Its definitely a gem and a parent's dream come true. Challenging academics accompanied by a nurturing and diverse environment. This is our first year at Shreiner and we have extremely high academic expectations that have been met by the PreK teachers and Director. Very satisfied.Parent Revisar11y ago23 Reseñas - Holy Spirit Prepartory School
