My daughter went to school from 1-5 and we felt like Jackson was our family from the start! Jackson should be 1st in Georgia!!

Most of the kids come from mostly stable and wealthy backgrounds which makes it very easy to pass the watered down state mandated test. My daughter had all A's in

We have one in the Challenge (gifted) program and another with a 504 plan (needs accommodations) and I feel that the needs of both are met and exceeded. I am an involved parent

The teaching methods are incredible, they push "experiential learning", so learning is ALWAYS taking place, whether on the playground or in the classroom. The vibe is so welcoming and laid back, none of the snobbery of some of the other top private schools. The Hamm center has been a blessing in helping her achieve the necessary language and literacy skills to thrive as a child who uses spoken language to communicate. Small class sizes and excellent teachers and staff who truly care about the students has been one of the biggest assets. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have loved my time with DVIS. Since we first entered the school in 2016 to now I have felt that DVIS is a nurturing environment for my kids. Both of my kids started at 18 months there. What I think DVIS does so well is teach kids to their level and make learning fun. My kids loved going to school and I credit DVIS for instilling the love of learning and a sense of worldly community to the kids. I truly was blown away by the projects, vocabulary and reading comprehension my kids were exposed too. Our children have made friends and learned different cultures from DVIS too. Soraya ( the school's director) makes herself available around the clock even after school hours as needed. She cares about the children and it shows. I love the trilingual program DVIS offers. My children are fascinated with languages and want to learn more! I can't say enough good things about DVIS.
