My daughters have been attending Kendale Lakes Elementary since kindergarten. I remember feeling very nervous in the beginning because, as a parent, sending your child to school for the first time can be scary. The unknown can make any parent anxious. However, as the years went by, my daughters and I truly began to feel like we were part of a family.Mrs. Martha T. Jaureguizar, the principal, is incredibly professional, kind, and warm-hearted. She creates such a positive and welcoming environment for the students and parents. The entire staff reflects that same level of care and dedication.Elena Alvarez has always shown how much she cares about the students and takes her job very seriously. You can tell she truly wants the best for every child. The front staff, including Barbie, the security guard, and Mr. Hawkins, are also amazing. They help keep the school safe while always welcoming families with open arms every single day.This school has been such an important part of my daughters’ childhood. They have watched my girls grow up over the years, and it makes me very emotional knowing this is their last year here.If you are considering Kendale Lakes Elementary for your children, I truly recommend it. You will not regret it. It is a school full of caring people who make students and families feel supported and valued.Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.

If you are for progress don't go to this school! They support only specific groups! The principal hates the parents and the students as well!

Seventeen years. That’s almost two decades of morning drop-offs, school events, friendships, lessons, growth, and memories that will stay with our family forever.All three of my children have been blessed to call this school home. Seeing where my older two are today is proof of the incredible foundation they received here.This school didn’t just educate my children,it shaped them. It taught them responsibility, kindness, confidence, and perseverance. The teachers truly care. The administration leads with heart. The staff goes above and beyond. Every child is known, supported, and encouraged to be their very best.For 17 years, this community has felt like family. It’s bittersweet knowing our final chapter here is approaching with my youngest in 8th grade. I will miss the familiar faces, the traditions, and the feeling of knowing my children were always in the best hands.We are beyond grateful for the impact this school has had on our lives. The lessons learned here will stay with my children forever and so will the love.

I am quite frankly very unsatisfied with this school. The one good thing about this school is that it's very strong academically, but that's all they care about. My child is a very strong academic student but ended up hating this school because of the stress with constant testing and excessive homework. I also felt like the teachers and administration did not want to talk to parents that much. I had struggled with communicating with my child's teachers multiple times and it was incredibly frustrating. They also don't have recess every day which came as a shock to me because when I was in elementary school, I had recess every day. Young kids NEED unstructured play time during the school day. I pulled my child out of this school because all this school did was destroy my child's desire for learning.
