"I live next door to this house. Ortega Forest is a great place to live. The school is only steps away, and has a wonderful playground and tennis courts. The neighborhood is friendly, attractive and safe. I am a single parent and feel very comfortable in this area. There are lots of children in the neighborhood, as well as others of all ages. The neighborhood association is informative and unintrusive (it's optional and free; they accept donations). This home is well maintained and pleasant, and is listed at a very fair price. "

Stockton is an excellent elementary school. The family engagement, in particular, is phenomenal. Because it's located in a neighborhood, many of the kids walk or bike to school and the families all really get to know each other and look out for each other. Administration makes themselves very available for meetings when you need to go over something and in my experience, are receptive to feedback. Our kids have been very happy at Stockton!
