John Stockton Elementary School

This is a great school however it’s extremely overcrowded! They over accept and accommodate students outside of the neighborhood. Too many students. Extended day has a long waitlist. They don’t prioritize students that actually live in this school zone.

My experience was really good I enjoyed it

Good teachers. Daughter has learned a lot. The only problem I have is they tend to be very eager to send a student home. Anything my kid says like I'm tired or I'm cold, they immediately take her to the office and check her temperature. If she has anything over a 100 they sending her home until 24 hour fever free even if I take her to the doctor and it is not contagious. I have to work to pay for her to go there not pay them for me to pick her up and stay at home with her. If they send her saying she has a fever and I take her to the Dr and they say it is a virus OK I understand. They should just have a little logic.

The school used to be great. It went downhill within a year, and all of the longtime teachers left. It got so bad that some teachers left mid-year. They constantly play musical teachers. There's drama amongst the staff which I have witnessed first hand while at school functions. They raise the price of tuition significantly every year to the point that it will no longer be affordable to send even 1 child. The first year, my child was provided with support for special needs. Since then, nothing has been done to support her even after meetings with the counselor, teachers, and the principal. The school is garbage. Save your money and send your child elsewhere.
