This furnished winter rental overlooks the Niantic River and offers a comfortable setting for an Mid-September-to-late Spril stay, with some flexibility in the rental period. Large windows bring the river right into the living room, where a gas-log fireplace adds a warm spot to settle in with a book, a cup of coffee, or simply enjoy the view. Keep an eye out for loons and eagles from the living room or from the large upstairs bedroom. The sunny kitchen and main-floor laundry make everyday living easy, while the home's thoughtful furnishings and well-cared-for condition make it ready to enjoy from the day you arrive. The property is fully furnished, with some linens provided, including sheets for the beds. Electric, cable/internet, and water are included.Tenant responsible for oil & propane. A comfortable seasonal home with beautiful river views, a cozy fireplace, and the sort of peaceful setting that makes winter in New England feel just right. No smoking or vaping permitted. Pet terms are subject to owner approval and applicable rental requirements.

    "People here are mostly gentle and kind. My cat went missing once and the community exploded with kind words and support. Always plenty to do between Rocky Neck, the boardwalk, and all the cozy shops and parks. Beautiful scenery at all times of year. We moved here during the winter and the cute little street lights on Main street were done up like we had stepped on the set of a Hallmark movie."

    "Cute little beach area. Private beaches are not huge but do the trick. The beaches are on the river not the sound. Not all pet owners are courteous with cleaning up after their pets. Making changes such as fencing or a carport are next to impossible due to zoning regulations and neighbors making a big stink. Who wants to live with that?"
