What Locals Say about Cushing Park

  • Linnjeffrey04
"I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life. I have always known it to be a safe and quiet. A friendly part of town where you can sleep with all the windows and doors open without worry."
  • Ginny L.
"The Park itself is very pretty. The surrounding residential area is quiet and peaceful and close to a network of varying retail stores."
  • Ginny L.
"It would be nice to have a policed dog park. When I say policed, I mean supervised to assure dogs get along, their owners behave, and dog droppings are cleaned up by owners."
  • Ginny L.
"I get into my own vehicle and always have a hard time getting out onto W. Dartmouth Ave. from S. Lipan Street since there is no stop light at this intersection. There is a light at S. Santa Fe Dr. And another on the West side of S. Platte River Dr. but that hinders getting across W. Dartmouth if I need to go east. This is especially true when the early morning sun is shining in a drivers' eyes and the going home traffic in afternoon is heavy."
  • Ginny L.
"Children need to be supervised by a responsible adult to protect children from danger in the park. That is true of any public area, however, in any city."
  • Tonie S.
"The parks is right off of Santa Fe, and near the light rail and it has a little stream."
  • Tonie S.
"It's a nice lead to the bike trails, and the light rail."
  • Tonie S.
"Side streets are never too busy, plenty of schools and family homes."
  • Tonie S.
"Plenty to do there with your children near the light rail."
  • Lilxsmom
