"It is surrounded by John McLaren Park, mostly quiet, and has been a nice and relatively safe place to live for the past 20 years. In recent months, however, traffic has increased as well as crime. "

"Living across the street from a park is incredibly unique in SF. The people are friendly and care about the neighborhood. I’ve been a resident for 19 years and have loved being here. "

"Stayed in Ingleside for 10 days. Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet streets. Used bus (Muni) to get to all the main tourist sights. Range of restaurants, grocery stores & other shops are all available to make a long stay easy. But be prepared for the cool winds & fog, even in Summer!"

"Quiet, residential neighborhood. Multi-cultural, local schools, 2nd largest park (McLaren) in SF. Close to two freeways. Very active neighborhood community, on-line and off-line. Relatively low crime rate. Good access to public transit buses, low traffic volume."

"Very quiet, sunny, safe and convenient location in San Francisco. This home is one of a handful of newer and larger single-family residences in the area, situated amongst the very well established Portola Hills/University Mound area of the City. The area represents a very good mix of ethnicity and diversity, including professionals and working families, long-time retirees and residences alike. Picturesque John McLaren Park (San Francisco's 2nd largest park) anchors the neighborhood not to far away and is a convenient spot for a multitude of family oriented and recreational activities (barbequing/picnicing, tennis, basketball, softball diamond, soccer field, etc.). Additionally, in terms of location, very convenient and easy access to all major highways (Hi 280 and 101) and minutes from both GlenPark BART station and downtown San Francisco. Overall, a real winner in all respects!"
