EW awful THE TEACHERS ATE EGGS AND DRANK COKE THE WHOLE DAY THEN YELLED AT KIDS FOR DRINKING THINGS OTHER THAN WATER AND EATING IN CLASS.

Posted by a parent on 2/3/2016I was a little concerned by the "rating" on this school at first. But soon after my son started, I found that my concerns quickly flew out the window. This is an amazing school!! The principal, teachers and staff are all very caring and attentive to the students. My son is in Dana Wells kindergarten

They keep a great communication line between the parents and teachers, the speech teacher is great and my son is reading on his own and we are only half way through kindergarten! I'm excited to see what else he will learn this year! Love the Principal--very involv

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff and leaders at this school and in this district were not people we wanted influencing the development of our children. We left the district after numerous examples of incompetence, poor and even disrespectful communication, and a general posture of defiance in response to our genuine concerns. The principal is inexperienced, which seems to be the source of so many missteps. We know from other families there’s a growing discontent with the leadership and a hope that the principal’s tenure is short. Perhaps the school has a chance to recover or redirect with new leadership. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average4 kids in & out of MCA. Hub’s graduated from there in 95. Some past years have been a real doozy with Administration, board & dress code. We actually, wrote the school off at one pount! I’ve noticed MCA gets less & less militant with students (think legalistic heaviness) as the years go by.The dress code is simple & not weird- jeans are allowed finally yay!The school has a Chaplain now & the Spiritual level of the school has massively, brightened & leveled up!Most teachers are wonderful humans & so caring— I’ve heard the Elementary children’s voices spilling into the halls as they start their classroom day with prayer & worship! Along with pledges! The children are prayed over frequently, by their teachers- in public and private! Prayer starts all parent/teacher conference meetings as well! It is soooo wonderful to have that gift!My children have definitely, grown in their intelligence AND relationship with the Lord because of MCA! And MCA keeps trending towards positive changes as the years have gone by. So that’s hopeful that they are not stagnant.I’d say only thing MCA is simply not equipped to handle are learning disabilities.
