The PTA works hard to make sure every student has an enriched education. The community is very supportive of the school, too. Lots of family interaction, adults sharing their careers and time

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere was so much bullying at this school, a kid brought a BB gun in their backpack. There are very few teachers who actually care about the kids. Most teachers and staff are reactionaries and rely on punishment instead of creating a safe and supportive classroom. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff and leaders at this school and in this district were not people we wanted influencing the development of our children. We left the district after numerous examples of incompetence, poor and even disrespectful communication, and a general posture of defiance in response to our genuine concerns. The principal is inexperienced, which seems to be the source of so many missteps. We know from other families there’s a growing discontent with the leadership and a hope that the principal’s tenure is short. Perhaps the school has a chance to recover or redirect with new leadership.
