Read what parents are saying about Northeast High SchoolAfter transferring to Northeast, I've really enjoyed it. I've recently graduated and come from a different school in the county. One of the bigger things you'll notice as a student is how much silent (and loud) racism and unprofessional things happen here. One of the teachers has been said to say the n-word multiple times, and pretty much harassed a student "attempting" to apologize about it. Another teacher, reveals his concealed carry card to students and tells them to "not try him." The school itself is pretty good, but you'll notice a lot more snarkiness, and silent drama. From what I've experienced there's a pretty good range of demographic at the school. It's not always one set group of students in the honors/AP/Dual enrollment classes and most of the teachers seem to try to help the students succeed if they want to. The school is pretty good compared to other ones, but most people don't realize that and take it for granted.

Posted by a parent on 5/2/2018Northeast High school pushes students to thrive for their best. With the school's Magnet, IB and the AP courses offered, students are continually challenged and stimulated to expand their knowledge. Every school has their pros and cons. Northeast not only was a place where I gained the knowledge to graduate but it was a place that prepared me for college. Many Northeast students have found themselves to attend IVY league colleges to well known universities. The teachers at Northeast are viewed as role models in not only teaching core lessons but instilling life lessons. Any student choosing to attend Northeast High School is guaranteed a rewarding four years of academic success and will be offered various opportunities centered on extracurricular activities, sports and experiences on volunteering.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has special needs, she has attended for four years now. She absolutely loves the school and the staff. Her teachers are a great encouragement and the academic program is great. The teachers are truly invested in my daughter’s education and her growth as learners. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the student. Also teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. Education has been a very positive experience for our family. If you want to give your child(ren) a stellar education while they are nurtured to be their best, most confident selves then I encourage you to seek out this school! Thank you!Parent Review2y ago - John M. Sexton Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is only in second grade so I haven't had enough experience to really decide how stringent the academics are. Sadly, if you live in St. Pete there are very few good schools to choose from. There is no sugar coating it, Public schools in the area are flat-out bad. The other two private schools nearby are over $25k/ year. This school is more reasonably priced and from what I understand is better academically than the public schools. I can see a big difference in my daughter's friends who go to better schools in Tampa. The technology, math, and science here seem to be severely lacking compared to highly rated schools in Tampa Bay. I'd overall say this is a step above the public school options though.Parent Review1y ago - Grace Lutheran School
