Lots of bullying at this school. PASAR is the worst. They don’t seem to pay any attention or take complaints seriously. Kids seems to get away with almost everything. My daughter has been told by a senior kid that she didn’t deserve a life. To top everything she was beaten up by this one boy who we have always complained about. She was kicked in the foot, couldn’t walk and had to miss school for two days. Luckily it turned out to be a sprain and not a fracture. It’s really not a safe place for kids.
My 8 year old sone is going to this school since 2 years and he loves this school, the teachers and the extra activities provided every now and then and thats all matters to us. But i would be more than happy if this school also provides learning of any other language such as Spanish.
My son was enrolled at this school earlier this school year after a difficult time at previous two schools for two years. We had to leave Skaggs due to an unexpected event. But for the brief period of time while he was there, I have nothing but great things to say about Skaggs. 1. GREAT, MOTIVATED AND LOVING teachers, counselor and staff at this school. My son, to this day, still sometimes mentioned his 2nd grade teacher Alyson. She had left such a great impression and positive influence on my son! 2. MEETING ACADEMIC RIGOROUSNESS 3. EXTREMELY WELL MANAGED AND ORGANIZED it shows as soon as you walk into their front office. 4. CLASS SIZE IS APPROPRIATE no oversized class which really helps teachers and students in a very productive learning environment. 5. GREAT TAG program 6. GREAT ACADEMIC PROGRAMS. My son was academically challenged, really enjoyed the class and had a great teacher Alyson! As an educator myself for the past 11 years in Dallas, I must say this is a great school with dedicated people working for you and your child. You can't go wrong especially if you and/or your child are looking for a challenging and positive environment.
This is a beyond great school. We bought a house in this school district just for the school. My kindergartener is reading at a 2nd grade level and my 2nd grader is reading at a 5th grade level. The teachers far exceeded all my expectations. I believe the schools is ranked the fourth highest school in the state of Texas. Exceptional education!
