Hedgcoxe Elementary School

As a former student at Hedgcoxe, I can say that this is a good school. Teachers were great, principals are great too. They help students get engaged in learning about all kinds of stuff. Especially the fine arts! However, it has a bit of a problem with how it handles bullying and other situations si

There a few standout teachers who are exemplary, but for the most-part many teachers have a sub-par attitude. The school has a greater sense of being a daycare to meet the requirements of uninvolved parents than to help nurture children's education.

I am a former student and I must say that it disappoints me to see that some of the good teachers have left! The principal is very kind and so is the rest of the staff! But I did have some issues with bullying. Some kids were just mean but the teachers never saw it. If the teacher saw it,

All the teachers couches and helpers are very nice and the principal very helpful.

There are a few good teachers but most of the good teachers have left. The school has a very negative feel, the teachers don't want to be there and neither do the students! Parent involvement is great and actually a must...the PTA runs the school. If you volunteer then your child will be in the best
