Read what parents are saying about Centennial Elementary SchoolWe love this school because of good teachers and diversity. So far we had very good experience
Posted by a parent on 7/20/2021Diversity, inclusion, openness, quality of teachers, school staff: all exceeds expectations. Great elementary school in the Plano district.
Posted by a parent on 12/7/2019If you look at test scores alone, definitively "yes". If you take the whole child into consideration, they are beat down from constant barrage of rules and shaming. This place needs a culture overhaul and should focus on getting back to basics. It's unfortunate that parents have to sacrifice quality and positive time weekly with their kids to fit the rigid expectations of the requirements outside of class.
Posted by a parent on 10/16/2019It’s a good school for the academically gifted traditional learner. Take the staff with a grain of salt, they seem to be harsh to everyone.
Posted by a parent on 9/25/2019I had high expectations for this school from all of the positive reviews about it but it has been a horrible experience. An experience I certainly won't forget. Some of these teachers need guidance and some need to be taught what it is to be a teacher of young minds.

Got him one on one tutoring. They were not very helpful on individual help.Parent Review7mo ago - Prince of Peace Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to POP for many years and had a horrible experience. The only good quality this school displays is the “education”. If you think teachers loading up hours of homework on students is good education, by all means, you’d love it here! I have learning differences and never were my accommodations given to me. I was told that my accommodations were not necessary. Teachers also have an extreme lack of care for students and it absolutely shows. The tension when walking through the halls is undeniable. The school is so desperate for staff they’ll hire anyone, which is detrimental to learning for the students. Nothing here is made to be fun, as the dress code policies are absurd. Wearing a hair tie which doesn’t make the color of your hair will be confiscated by the dean. As students we have to care more about the length of our skirt than our own well-being. I hope anyone thinking of sending their children here reads this review. There are so many amazing schools out there and Prince of Peace is just not one of them.Other Review4mo ago - Campbell Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe owner( also) the Phonics teacher June Campbell is a very rude and unprofessional teacher, she hung up my phone call when I was on the phone and explaining my questions( she told me there are a lot of practice words in the video however, there is only one or two words practice in the video in every lesson) , I was asking if she gave me the wrong CD but she hung up my phone and never apologize to me, I would not let my daughter to be taught by such rude and terrible teacher.
