Posted by a parent on 3/6/2024The teachers are very nice and friendly, respond parent's emails on the same day. The admin staff are responsible and helpful. The teacher ratio is 1:22 or 1:23 now, even higher in 4th and 5th grade. Gym is packed, so many students in this school now, drooping off and pick up is a big issue. Wish PI

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Archgate for 6 years. Primary was good. However, during her three years of Lower Elementary, there was a bully in the classroom. Things went from good to worse depending on the behavior of the girl that would bully her and bully other students. The last time I talked about this to the school principal, she said that we needed to have “grace” for the girl that was a bully. After three years of this going on, that was the expectation. So my daughter could be bullied but the expectation for her was to have “grace” give the bully the “opportunity to learn from it”. This knowing that other parents had complained about the same kid for several times. Now, she’s at a school that holds the students accountable and has an actual policy against bullying and does not tolerate it.Parent Review1y ago - West Plano Montessori School

They taught my kids to explore and experience, and not just to memorize. I really wish the public schools would use some of the methods that the teachers in this school use.
