"Dog owners would like living in northgate because of how walkable it is and how we have several parks in the neighborhood!"
  • Liann
"We have lived here for the past three years and it’s not all that bad. Restaurants and stores are close and easily accessible, great parks nearby, and transit station is within walking distance. For the most part, people are friendly. There have been some homeless camps here and there since we are close to the highways, and there have been a few times where I felt unsafe walking outside alone at night. "
  • Janine K.
"SB I-5 backs up every afternoon The best number for efficient going downtown but since they took away the bus tunnel access it's added at least 10 or more minutes on to the route. "
  • Philip F.
"The neighborhood is still up & coming! The age for the neighborhood is mid 20's - 50's in the area! There's still a bit of crime but it's from the displacement of people from being homeless! "
  • Jessica T.
"So. Much. Traffic. Crazy drivers. I5 always has traffic. Literally 7am to 9pm. Everyday. Traffic. 45 mins to downtown/James st exit is average. "
  • Jessica T.
"Lots of busy streets and cars. Not a lot of off leash areas. Plenty of dogs in the area though. Lots of dog walkers available and doggie day care"
  • Rini
"Because of the light rail renovations and bus reroutes, it takes about 45 minutes from Northgate transit center to Downtown Seattle (a good chunk of it is spent exiting onto Seneca Street exit (#41 bus)"
  • Tor2gito
