7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children, my oldest does great in school and loves it. My other child, she had already failed a grade in a previous school, shes not doing so great this year and they won't approve an IEP or 501 plan even with the medical documentation showing she has multiple of learning disabilities and she expresses constantly how overwhelmed she feels with the type of work she is given. I have tried to contact the school twice already to set up a meeting for this school year to discuss the plans and attempting her to enroll, even had her speech therapist say she would vouch that she absolutely needs assistance, but nobody will return my requests. If you have a child who is in need of a 501 or IEP, I do NOT recommend this school. (By the way, for those who are just researching, this school was renamed to Laurel Lane Elementary). I moved here for this school and now regret I did so as I watch my child struggle through another school year causing her to have breakdowns.Parent Review2y ago13 Reviews - Clara Byrd Baker Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough good things about PCS. The trivium is such an effective and logical way to educate children. The curriculum fosters a love of learning that is priceless. The teachers truly love what they do and care deeply for each student. The sense of community is so special and truly feels like family.Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - Greenwood Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGo somewhere else. Awful experience. If you have kids enrolled, monitor them well. Teacher's don't care. Admin could care less about the school.Parent Review8mo ago19 Reviews - Walsingham Academy Upper School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFive Stars. This is our 18th year of children at this school. 2 have already graduated and they were well prepared for college life and the 3rd one will be as well. Parents appreciate the rigor and discipline so they will make the decision for their children to attend. Kids may not love it but they will be more mature, more disciplined, better educated, and better prepared when they leave Walsingham for college.Parent Review7y ago9 Reviews - Walsingham Academy Lower School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started from preK3 and he is preK4 now. We transferred from a daycare to Walsingham Academy and immediately see the differences on our child's development and well-being. Not only he learned more knowledge, but also he is more healthy here. The warm-heart nurse take care of children with special needs. Teachers are extremely responsible for children's knowledge and good characters development. Before my son started school, he knew little English. But now he can speak English sentences all the time and even at home. The school does a good job to continuously encourage different students to catch up with the rest of the class. But we feel so sorry that we have to move to another city, otherwise I think we are going to complete my child's elementary education here. I visited a few schools in the other city I'm moving to and couldn't find one looks as good as Walsingham Academy.Parent Review6y ago8 Reviews
