"We have many neighborhood events, such as an Easter Egg Hunt down at our neighborhood beach along with multiple social gatherings throughout the year. There are block parties at Halloween and 4th of July. There is a genuine feeling of community here. "

"I’ve lived here for 1 year. There are no sidewalks in riverside but it is safe to walk, you are directly beside the Mariners museum and the Nolan trail. Great local school and community. Secret beach is a gem and adds to the beauty of the neighborhood. Close by cnu but very quiet and no noisy at all. Lots of families and children in the area, very wooded and lots of nature around "

"Yes lots of people walk their dogs here especially as it’s near the Nolan trail and very accessible and safe "

"It has the nicest trail in the area, a private beach for the summer and CNU makes for a beautiful drive on the way home."

"This is a wonderful neighborhood along the James River between the Mariners Museum and the James River CC, well-cared for homes, lovely neighborhood beach, nice for walking, near miles of running trails. "

"We have lived here for over 6 years and love this neighborhood. Its central location with easy access to all the best the Peninsula offers makes it a great location. A great area for families due to its community atmosphere and neighborhood maturity with every house different, and such close proximity to many museums, makes this neighborhood feel like "Americana"."
