8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome of the teachers and staff are amazing and long time served. This is an affluent neighborhood school with structured and organized standards, good resources, nice building and playground, security and good support staff. Great PTA participation and parent communication. Just a few questionable teachers but overall an excellent elementary. Exceptional teachers include Houtz (K), Whitehead (5th), Richards (Librarian). Great chess club and family events.Parent Review3y ago5 Reviews - Virginia Heights Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageabsolutely terrible! Not just the experiences I have had with the teachers, but the principle as well. I've noticed they are really good at changing the subject instead of answering questions. Problems will get worse with no desire to fix them.Parent Review5y ago4 Reviews - Wasena Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think this is a great school for children who do not struggle with behavioral or learning disabilities. The principle lacks experience and tolerance for children struggling with mental health. She struggles respecting the opinions of others when dealing with situations where is child is a clearly struggling with mental health disorder and is quick to send a child home if she doesn’t have the staff to deal with the behavior.Parent Review4y ago9 Reviews - Grandin Court Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere's bullying in this school. The principal will disagree and tell you that your kid is probably hitting himself/herself. And if you call them out on it they send you to court out of spite. The principal has suspicious 1 on 1 "lunches" with his students. He is manipulative to try and get his way as well trying to convince you that your kid is ok and that he has good relationships with the kids when in reality my son didn't even know his name. Be careful with this school. It's very odd. I don't recommend it.Parent Review7mo ago12 Reviews - Hurt Park Elementary School
