  • Suzette k.
"I was born in Roanoke, but have lived in many areas of the East, Northeast, and Midwest regions of the United States. Roanoke is a good place to be, because it has the small-town feel with some of the advantages of a larger city: diverse restaurants, free public transportation on the trolley downtown during weekdays, nice greenspaces along the river, parks, museums, active nightlife, and music. As we have some younger generations either moving to Roanoke or staying here as opposed to moving elsewhere, we are starting to have more modern apartments and lofts available. I enjoy the new designs and updated amenities that provide for more luxurious living in downtown Roanoke. "
