"It’s so gentrified, everything is so expensive. It’s unfortunate this is where I was raised and I can’t even provide that for my kids anymore. "

"This neighborhood has morphed into a vibrant community that has tons of options. It has not preserved the culture that once was located here, however."

"The constant building of high rise apartments priced at ridiculous high minimums for terrible and rushed work. Awful people moving in who treat the side walk like a dumpster. Broken glass and dog poop, rats and garbage everywhere. "

"There’s a freshness to the whole place. Granted there’s a lot of new construction , but it’s more an attitude of the people to do something new."

"I live here for 7 years. I do like the fact that you are literally close to everything by just a walk away. Also the city is like 15 minutes ride on the L train which is my closest train station. We have a fresh market at MCcarren park every Saturday morning from 8-2pm. Lots of lots of restaurants and coffee shops..🥰"

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school lack proper teaching to prepare kids for the next grade. The kids are bullies and the teachers have favoritism towards the children. All the African American students face discrimination and it’s known in the community not to attend this school. My child would come home with scratches on her face and they broke her favorite water bottle then lied about it but refused camera footage. The kinder teacher was extremely mean and Im still furious about the situation. They cater to white families and the school has low percentage of diversity.Parent Review8mo ago14 Reviews - Ps 18 Edward Bush
