"The dog run is near and there is a great community of dog owners. We have a wonderful park and, by and large, courteous dog owners. "

"In recent years we are known for high level of pedestrian injuries due to improper bike lane use, police cars parking illegally in the crosswalk making it harder to see the bikes, a terribly deteriorated local park, and bikes, motorbikes and scooters using the sidewalks at great speed, and lots of empty storefronts. It was once a great neighborhood. "

"Beautiful, clean, historical, modern, exciting, plenty of green spaces, right in the middle of New York City. Easy public transportation to anywhere, but everything you need is in walking distance. It’s expensive, though!"

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a good school because my child is making academic progress, is excited about learning, and enjoys the school community. The class sizes are larger than the ideal size. Yet, even with the larger class sizes, the teachers meet the challenges and they are experienced and qualified. The parent involvement is great. Since the school and the parents work together, it benefits the children. (I hope this year goes well.)Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Epiphany Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former student who attended the Epiphany School for nine years. My lower school experience was mostly positive, but once I entered the upper school it all changed dramatically. Apart from a couple of great teachers, the rest were there not to teach, but to slam students with homework. I felt like I was teaching myself. It also seemed like half of them felt fed up with the entire concept of teaching or were more interested in checking their cell phones than doing their job. There was zero discipline in the classroom, with loud and disrespectful kids and no rules. The principal is impersonable and gives a strong impression that she does not care. There was a lot of bullying going on as well, which was either unnoticed or completely ignored by teachers. There were many cliques, and majority of students acted vicious if you did not agree with their views. I write this now with firsthand knowledge of what a good school experience can be like somewhere else. It is truly night and day!Other Review3y ago20 Reviews - The Ecole

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIncredible teachers where they know your child and take time to chat with them when time allows. My child LOVES school! Academics are strong, hence their Blue Ribbon status! I must add there are (too) many half days that can be difficult to coordinate, since the day would end at 11:30am.Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews
