"I live in a nice apartment complex in Lone Mountain except for dog owners do not pick up after their dog uses the bathroom. It’s a good thing the complex has cleaners twice a week cleaning after dogs, but I feel people should be more responsible in the first place. Outside my complex I have not found this a problem at nearby parks or sidewalks. "

"Honestly I’ve only lived here for maybe a week or so... In fact, we’re still unpacking boxes! Lol... but I’m the short time we’ve lived here the neighborhood hS really grown on us... it’s nice to not be surrounded by rows of cookie cutter houses and apartments.... in our little culdisac every house is unique In it’s own way. It really feels like home!"

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy wife and I had three children go through Eisenberg Elementary and we had so many issues with the teachers. One was when they told our oldest he was stupid and made him come to front of the class and say, “I’m stupid.” Gotta love CCSD.Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews - Marc Kahre Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe new administration is vile…. Bring back Miss Jerome. This is my son’s 3rd year here, he is diagnosed with OCD and of course they’re in elementary and have behavioral issues sometimes. But this new singling my child out and suspending him for something all the other kids are also doing? Then a grown man raising his voice and scaring my child so badly he was crying for 3 hours after school? Disgusting. This school was so amazing, it’s turned to absolute garbage with this new administration.Parent Review7mo ago12 Reviews - Ruthe Deskin Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe office staff is very difficult to communicate with. There is a language barrier with the gal answering the phones in the office, on more than one occasion we have not been able to have basic questions answered because of this. We were at the school waiting for a meeting with a staff member and were sent away by the office lady only to receive a call shortly after asking why we didn't come to the meeting?! The short time my child went to Deskin, he was very unhappy. He reads at highschool level and the teacher told us "he will read what everyone else in my class reads" he quickly became bored, I then received a call that he wasn't paying attention. He never had issues at his previous school. He is a very eager learner. We tried the online for a few weeks at the beginning of this school year. His teacher repeatedly kicked him offline the entire day for humming or other small things during Zoom meetings. It's up to the teacher to keep the children muted, she sent an email blaming him. Denying a 7 year old an entire day of education for humming is absurd! I'd hate to see how she behaves in the classroom. This teacher also shared her political views which is absolutely not her place. I will *never* send my child back there and I would tell any other parent to stay very clear of this place!Parent Review5y ago12 Reviews - Edith Garehime Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was just removed from pre-k via text! This is a delicate situation that should have probably been handled in person. The problems were brought to our attention 1 week prior to what their intentions were of dismissal and wanted it corrected in a week! Very unprofessional ladies….Parent Review3y ago13 Reviews - Eileen Conners Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is amazing! I have one child who has matriculated through kinder-5th, and one child is currently enrolled. His teachers were supportive and helpful. Through each grade level, I saw them take the time to learn their learning style and accommodate them to the best of their ability. The principal knows both my children's names and faces. At every event we attend, she ensures she says hello and addresses them by name. She always communicates with me directly if any issues arise and works collaboratively with me to address the issue at home and at school, so my children feel supported and understood while also understanding real-life consequences to their actions. The counselor there is always readily available, even just to be an ear to listen to any concerns they have. The front office staff is always kind and respectful, and works with a sense of urgency that is hard to find. It's nice to know that my children are surrounded by other adults who not only support them but also are rooting for them to be their best selvesParent Review3mo ago25 Reviews - Mountain View Lutheran School
