6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school definitely teaches better things, but teachers need to pay attention to the bullying. My younger cousin was getting bullied and no one did anything about it, until his mother had to say something. They have fun activities and shows, but they need to get better at hosting them. Provides free bus tickets for students that need it, but only if you live far enough. The whole mental health thing doesn’t even help, the counseling is supposed to make it better but it really makes no difference, so they need to fix that. However, you can definitely make friends here, and can have an amazing time. They host many things, occasionally host field trips (for middle school..), and other fun events. Decent education.Student Review4mo ago17 Reviews - Learning Community Charter School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMe and my wife Varsha went to check out this school for our son. We did not like the way the administrator was talking to us in a very unprofessional manner as if we are not worth her time and dont belong in this school. I had mentioned to her that all people no matter where they came from, background or skin color should be welcomed. The administrator and staff could not care less. I recommend you stay away from this school as this is not a safe school that recognizes normal behavior and acceptance of all races of color.Parent Review2mo ago31 Reviews - Dr. Michael Conti School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son goes to this school, and he is constantly bullied. He often comes home crying with a very disappointed and distressed expression. The teachers, instead of being encouraging, are always criticizing him and frequently call me for the smallest reasons. The students' marks are sometimes allotted without properly checking their work or giving due consideration. Not only that, but every aspect of the school seems concerning. Even the nurse does not provide proper care when my son visits for an emergency check-up. Some teachers have been terrible in the way they degrade my son and emotionally damage his confidence, which is not a quality of a good teacher. Such behavior is unacceptable for anyone in a teaching position. Unfortunately, it is not just one teacher many members of the staff are irresponsible, behave in an absurd manner, and do not approach problems in a friendly or professional way. Instead, they act according to their own preferences without considering the students' well-being. Some teachers openly criticize my son in front of other students, which encourages them to bully him further. The students then complain about him to the same teachers, making the situation even worse and causing him to feel increasingly sad and isolated. Rather than helping students develop good qualities and confidence, the school environment seems to encourage bullying. In addition, the school often provides misleading information regarding students' progress and behavior. That year was extremely difficult for my son. He cried frequently and often did not want to attend school because of the terrible conditions he faced there. Even when parents raise concerns, the principal tends to dismiss the complaints and side with the teachers instead of investigating the issues and working toward a solution. As a result, the situation continues to worsen day by day. Furthermore, some teachers appear to be more interested in receiving gifts than focusing on academics. They seem to give more attention and consideration to students who provide them with gifts or favors, rather than treating all students equally and fairly.Parent Review2mo ago11 Reviews - Julia A.
