"Is a beautiful place to live and maybe people should smile more around here and be friendlier. Jersey city is surrounded by young families, I lived here all my life and it’s getting growing and looking better around here."

"Dogs are everywhere love that the neighborhood is so pet friendly but it would be better if they installed more public garbage cans on street corners particularly on heavily trafficked roads."

"Visiting the city for my birthday and my family and friends. I enjoyed it so much that my family and myself went to see the city and the town together. This was the best time of my entire trip and it was amazing seeing everyone and seeing the incredible sights everywhere and being surrounded by amazing people. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was so good and the people were so welcoming and friendly. My family loved it and the food they loved was always great too."

"It is easy to commute to NYC from many places in JC. From Journal Square, Downton, Newport, and other neighborhoods accessible via light-rail to then take the Path to 33rd or WTC. We love downtown JC but unfortunately we are going to move next year. We will miss this place! "

"Our community is very diverse and loving Their are many parks and family oriented activities near by. The only draw back is the sound of the emergency vehicles , there are several departments throughout the downtown area as well as the JCMC. "

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGenerally we were happy at this school for the 3 years we attended. However, the school’s mostly computer based assignments were really problematic in my view. Likely a JCPS-wide issue. Most of the teachers we had were great, bar one who generally just seemed checked out and done with teaching. Hands off, kids graded their own work. 504s are only followed when parents pressure the school. The principal is ok, perhaps a bit ineffective. The community is fantastic, and the PTO is really involved.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - Rafael De J. Cordero No. 37 Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is incompetent and doesn’t take mental health seriously. They also extremely don’t accommodate students with disabilities even though they claim they do.
