7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLockhart is a wonderful school! The teachers are experienced, and can handle all kinds of students. Principal Zoller is very supportive of the teachers, and communicates well with parents. My child has some social/behavior issues, and has thrived there. Her teachers have taken our input seriously in the classroom, and given us great suggestions things we can do at home. She has lots of friends now, and is doing well academically and socially. Because of how the classes are structured, kids can do advanced work in the subjects they excel in, and get help in subjects they struggle with every day in their classroom, so they aren't singled out by going to special classes. They take bullying seriously, and work with the parents to resolve problems as they arise, rather than ignoring them until they get out of hand. Like most schools in this area it's diverse, which we love!Parent Review11y ago10 Reviews - Forestville Road Elementary

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei went to this school from 2017-2021. when i went to this school there was a time where we would get in a lot of trouble for just talking to each other while waiting for our buses. there was a teacher who would go around, pull out her (personal) phone, and take pictures of kids who were talking and send it to the principal. one day, she was almost bragging about how many “kids she got” to another teacher. once i had a friend who told a teacher she lost her phone and she said and i quote “oh well, you shouldn’t have had it at school.” also during lunch they would make us walk around in a circle around the table and throw away our food and put the tray on the table and if a student accidentally threw away the whole tray, staff would get frustrated. so what were they doing with those plates? and once the principal made us walk up and down the stairs at least 2-3 times cs we were “too loud”. so yeah. don’t send your kids here.Other Review1mo ago8 Reviews - Beaverdam Elementary

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was a student here for 3 years and fell behind with many of the other students. The teachers barely meet the minimum curriculum needed for the age requirements of the state. Physical fights in classrooms and bullying are very common here. I removed my child from this school and he has been excelling academically, socially, and emotionally. This school will only hold your child’s potential back. I highly recommend not going here.Parent Review5mo ago1 Reviews
