"Big open areas for dogs to run. Lots of dogs around however, might not be friendly towards each other. "

"Easy. Opposite way of traffic all the time. When I’m going to the suburbs for work everyone if coming to the city. When I’m coming home everyone is going to the subs. It’s great!"

"There are many, many dog owners in my neighborhood and I rarely see dog poop, do they seem to be responsible about picking it up. Several dog owners bring their dogs over to the school yard to play fetch but are always in verbal control of their dog."

"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for the last 7 years and it just keeps getting better. There are a few properties and property owners who are problematic, but there are fewer each year."

"6 blocks to Summit Ave & Grand Ave + 8-9 blocks to Cathedral Hill make this an area with lots to do. The area has arguably the best public schools in the city, perhaps even the Twin Cities & still has awesome old homes oozing with character at bargain prices. This area was bad news at one time but has now been gentrified. Take crime stats for Summit-U with a grain of salt as 80% of the crime happens in the 20% of Summit-U North of interstate 94, which is it's own separate world. Subtract that crime ridden area (again, separated by the freeway) & you have a neighborhood full of affordable classic homes for families, awesome parks, A-1 schools, easy freeway access, right in the heart of St Paul's trendiest shopping/food districts, only a mile or so from downtown St Paul & just a short jump on I94 to downtown Mpls."

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei love this school and not sure where these rankings come from. The staff care about their scholars and their wellbeing. I have one child that graduated 5th grade there and another starting pre K there this year. We chose Maxfield over other schools due to the small classes and overall school enviroment where kids don't get overlooked.Parent Review9mo ago3 Reviews - Obama Service Learning Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing school! The teachers and administration are experienced, dedicated and caring. They meet kids where they are, challenge them and help them flourish. The education is rigorous, and the school also puts an emphasis on character development and kindness. The community is warm, welcoming, and forward-thinking. Students are happy. Everyone seems to look out for each other. We are thankful to have found this special place and community for our kids.Parent Review1y ago25 Reviews - Christ's Household Of Faith
