We highly regret sending our child here. It was a horrible transition into elementary school/kindergarten. The teacher has no teacher certification and does not understand early childhood development/social-emotional skills or age appropriate curriculum. After paying full tuition, we pulled our child and what he was being taught was extremely behind the public school system. Perhaps the older grades are better, but after a semester of our child suffering, coming home broken down emotionally, and us being gaslight by the teacher, we couldn’t do it anymore. I volunteered for a week in a classroom across the hall and witnessed it in first person and was horrified I put my child through that experience for so long. Administration apologized and said it was the best they could find, however, the “teacher”/women in charge of the classroom also bragged of the members of the church community she was related to, so likely her continued employment is linked to that connection, since many parents have told me they’ve complained and are just trying to survive until first grade so it can get better.
