"the code enforcement is crazy strict on grass length and other codes but for the most part everyone is nice and helpful. the city is very close knit and supportive of our own residents "
  • Emily M.
"Right next to Riverview HS, very friendly neighborhood with new young families. Lived here my entire life (18) and would highly recommend to anyone."
  • Marie
"There is a park close by with a pond to walk your dog around. you can often see people walking their dogs in the morning or early evening. I often walk my dog around the subdivision and up to the park a few times a week. Everyone is really friendly and it feels like a safe environment. There are dog waste stations located near and throughout the park as well for dog owners to use. It would great if Riverview invested in a dog park to allow an area to have pets off the leash in a fenced in enclosure. We have to go to the next town to use a park meant just for dogs. "

  • Chelsey W.
"Dog owners in my neighborhood would like to have a fenced in dog park where they can run around and play off leash. "
  • Kt_graffag118
"There’s no dog parks in the area to let your don’t roam in a secure gated area. If you choose to go to a dog park you have to drive the next city. "
  • Kt_graffag118
"Traffic is never terrible to get to one to 75 in the morning or home at the end of the day. There are bus stops locally but I very rarely see anyone at the stops. "
  • Cainjeremy
"It’s pretty boring. I’m moving soon. It’s not bad here, but there’s nothing cool about living here. "
  • Marisol B.
"Never need to go too far for anything... Food, retail, grocery, movies, pharmacy, gas. Friendly people"
  • Rennerr
"I have lived here most of my life. My husband and I bought my childhood home. Their are many alumni that come back to our neighborhood after college after they get married to raise their kids. Everyone pretty much knows everyone and we all look out for each other. We look out for each other’s kids, homes, cars, etc.... it’s home! "

"Been in this area my whole life! Love it and feel very safe"
  • Craig G.
"This is a very nice neighborhood with its own park and private feel. The sub is the shape of a horseshoe, with a few side streets running through it. There are only two streets leading into and out of the sub (east side and west side of the horseshoe sub). So, the people that are driving through usually have a purpose to being there. It sits off the main road and gives you that quiet, private feel. Yet, residents are active here and it’s very common to see your neighbors out walking their dogs, running, biking, or just outside taking advantage of the nice summer days. There remains a good mix of original homeowners who have been there since the sub was built in 1979 and some other long term residents too. There is low turnover of homes. People who move here tend to stay. However, there is a good mix of starter families too and kids of various ages. The sub does have an annual sub wide garage sale that has been going on for many, many years with very good turnout of people. It’s a great day to get out and meet the neighbors, or head out of town for a quick weekend getaway if garage sales aren’t your thing. LOL. But other than that, this is a very nice, usually quiet, family friendly subdivision that is worthy of your time checking it out if you’re thinking of checking in! Welcome Neighbor! "

"I have lived in Riverview for a few years now, and before that I lived near enough to WANT to move there. I always heard great things about the schools and the community, and now I see firsthand that the rumors were true! This is a very close knit community, but welcoming to newcomers. I have friendly neighbors who respect privacy and maintain their property. There is a sense of pride in this community, yet I don't detect any snobbery. Drive around, stop and shop, have a bite to eat, and talk to people...I'm sure you will want to live here too!"
