5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and staff are human beings. Wonderful people who do their best! Some of the children need extra help, thus the school is making up for that. While the parents are working and taking care of the family.Parent Review6y ago4 Reviews - Gaywood Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a fantastic school. The teachers, principal, and everyone else in the building absolutely give everything they have to these kids. There is a "parent support group" in lieu of a PTA and parents are very involved in the school. I initially hesitated to send my child here but now that seems so silly as my daughter is learning so much and loves the school.Parent Review7y ago4 Reviews - Robert Goddard Montessori

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children learned a lot from their early education teachers. This school does not welcome/embrace families!!! Many teachers are not montessori certified, are unprofessional. lack care for their students and have poor classroom control. Teachers/Staff support themselves. Some teachers are rude to students. The school building is shared with another school on campus so RGS are forced to share their space. The principal hand picks her staff. Children and parents are not taken seriously. There is a very strong sense of control once parents/families step into their school. Yet, their child attends the school! Sadly, this school is NOT what it is all hipped up to be. This is a way for the county to show they are providing equal education to all under an umbrella who is truly disfuncional. The PTA is involved and do their best for the students. If parents or staff try to speak up there seems to be a bullying type of action taken against those who report unfairness, complaints and/or concerns.Parent Review1y ago17 Reviews - Reid Temple Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend enrolling your child in this school. The administration appears to be more focused on financial matters than on the well-being and development of the children. The staff has demonstrated unprofessional behavior, and my four-year-old was removed from the school due to unsubstantiated allegations. The school does not provide adequate support or resources for children they perceive as having behavioral challenges. Michelle Taylor initially informed me that my son could not return because of these allegations, but later denied making that statement—apparently in an attempt to justify additional fees on what they claim is an outstanding balance. For an institution that identifies as a Christian academy, I found very little that reflected Christian values in their actions. I strongly advise parents to consider other options before enrolling their children here.Parent Review7mo ago20 Reviews - Holy Trinity: An Episcopal School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely love this school. My son is in Kindergarten this school year and I am very pleased. He has made dramatic improvements in his comprehension, reading, writing and math. Plus he adores his school! At just about 6 years old, he is always rushing me in the morning so he can get to school on time. He tells me "Mommy don't make me late", LOL. I do believe that every experience is unique and that you must do thorough research when deciding where to send your children. I have a two year old daughter who I plan to also send to HTEDS and follow in her brother's steps. I love that they demand the most from their students and require parents to participate in their children's education. Yes their expectations are high, but I think high expectations prepare our children to readily compete on a larger level in all parts of their life. While I feel the tuition is more than affordable and I decided to give the school 4 stars because the before and after care is quite pricey. They should re-evaluate that system. Otherwise, great, safe, engaging and fun learning environment at a great price and their program can compete with most of the surrounding private schools in the region.Parent Review12y ago12 Reviews - Glenn Dale Montessori School
