"I work in this neighborhood and people here are very fairly and respectful. Dog owners are good for picking up their poop and also respectful of other peoples face when they’re walking their dogs. There is a playground here and even a little splash park in the middle of the food court. It’s really nice"

"Our corner of heaven is located north of East-West Highway, between the CSX line and the Northeast Branch of the Anacostia River, more broadly between Route 1 and Kenilworth Avenue. For public transportation, we are served by several Metrobus lines, the University of Maryland buses and the local neighborhood bus, and within walking distance from the College Park Metro Station (Green Line) and the Riverdale Park MARC station (Camden Line). The neighborhood is great for raising kids and having pets (to walk), bordered by a very large park with a play ground, many types of ball sport fields and the Northeast Branch Trail on the east side. North, you will find a trail that leads to duckling ponds and a quiet (white collar) business park (also great for taking walks at night). Using the underpass road on Lafayette Street, a number of business are within walking and biking distance in the "old downtown" Riverdale Park area. From the notorious weekly farmers market to the local Brew provider at Town Center Market, the area does not lack in selections of places to eat, drink, practice some hot yoga or get a hair cut, just to name a few. Young parents are flocking to area and help sustain a very versatile crowd of neighbors from all backgrounds. We are lucky to live in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of personality and a great identity."

"We have approximately 6500 people in town with many parks and green areas. The area is home to many NASA scientists and engineers as well as Federal and State employees. We also have many lower priced homes that families can afford. We have acres and acres of room for people with pets and in neighborhoods we all recognize our neighbors. We are governed by a Ward systems - I live in Ward 3. There are 6 Wards and a mayor. We have our own fire department, public works and police department. I live at the North end of Riverside Drive and the circle is permit parking. There is space for 6 cars if you need to park them off the property, room to park two on the property."
