"Commute is great besides rush hour when driving. There are multiple buses, trains, bikes and scooters to get around."

"it's pretty cool neighborhood. the buses are a half block away. Could be more stores in the area and playgrounds for the children and maybe a recreational center for the kids. "

"There's no kids doing trick or treating on the blocks on Holloween nor anybody is barely have any decorations up during the holiday months, I don't really comfortable with living here in the Roseland neighborhood anymore period, I'm so ready to moving away from over here so badly that I will be so happy when my lease close to ending, that's how badly I want to move away from over here and I've picked the wrong place to move into!"

"It’s dangerous in the Roseland. Stay away from here with your kids. This definitely isn’t the place to raise your kids. "

"The gun shots you hear randomly throughout the day. Or the fireworks from April to August that are actually louder than the gunshots depending on where you are. "

"Roseland does not have community events that make this neighborhood feel special. There’s no effort and there’s too much crime anyway."

"Food pantries for the needy. Other than that it’s no events in the neighborhood most people don’t like to get involved like they use to back in the 90’s with all the block parties and back to school events or just things period that involves the kids. "

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think this school tries very hard to compete. The teacher seem to be engaged and concerned about the students. I enjoyed helping my children with there excessive homework. I believe in home work so this was a plus for Dunne. The children's safety is very important to the staff as well. They are encouraged to plan for college which leaves lasting affects!Parent Review12y ago3 Reviews - Lavizzo Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think Lavizzo is turning out to be a good school. In the past it was horrible. There are some community members who make it tough at the school because they dont check there kids. The school is turning around and it is a better school now.Parent Review12y ago1 Reviews - Roseland Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not fit to educate. Most of the staffs children attend the school and receive preferential treatment. The staff has a condescending attitude and the policies fluctuate based on it. Staff will band together and mistreat students and parents if you question and expect them to be responsive or responsible for your child and the events transpiring while in their care. They simply ignore your requests for information and assistance with anything. The worst place to send your child if you want the best for them. Teachers are on their phones during class time but punish the children for not staying on task. There was a teacher in thigh high boots and a short miniskirt teaching very young children, very unprofessional in my opinion. This school only offers extracurricular activities for 6th grade+. It's supposedly an African centered school but I have yet to see what education is administered in that area. The school should have a complete overhaul from top to bottom as well as customer relations training.Parent Review9y ago2 Reviews - G & L Johnson Career Academy
