"Easily accessible and quite safe when taking Metra. If driving downtown, taking the expressway is basically safe but can be congested depending upon the time of day someone will travel."

"Neighbors look out for each other. The block is quite. People stay to themselves. They keep their lawns clean and looking nice. In the winter the block looks out for you to make sure your snow is removed "

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff makes the school the principal is very rude I think she thinks every parent that she comes across she has to talk to them in a disrespectful manner I kinda glad she declined my son offer letter she let her personal reasons for me come between my son education she does not accept accountability she interrupted me in a conversation which is very rude you are to let the person finish then you respond no she has to talk loud over you to get her point across which is not what I want my child to experience I want my child to understand in order to give respect you have to give it I don’t think many people are complaining about her enough because I’m sure with that type of leadership she has she shouldn’t be in the position again the staff is the reason it’s definitely not her if you deal with difficult parents you don’t take it out on other parents an I felt that’s exactly how she treated me she had WRONG information then when confronted she played victim an my child sufferedParent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Green W Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is a student at Green School. The teachers are great. My child had an aversion to math, but he now likes math and is one of the top students in his math class. He will be going to high school in the fall and I feel that he will be well prepared to succeed.Parent Review16y ago1 Reviews - St. Margaret of Scotland School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDon’t send your kids here. The Principal does not care about the quality of education the kids are getting. My daughter’s teacher went on maternity leave, they did not have a teacher in place instead put a unqualified teacher aide in the class. Because this teacher was not qualified, they had 4th grade teacher teaching 3rd math and ELA. Neither the aide or 4th grade teacher have degrees. The 4th grade teacher was constantly rude to parents and posted a inappropriate TikTok video of the students. The work being sent home was all over the place and it was unorganized. Parents complained and nothing was done. My daughter ended the school year not covering all of 3rd grade math components. They took away the music and art teacher, and barely taught religion. When paying tuition….this is not quality of education you want for your child.Parent Review3y ago18 Reviews - Labor Of Love Performing Arts Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been at this school since first grade he will going to fourth. I love this school. My son was advanced so when he got there he was tested and allowed to work at a second grade level because that's what he tested too. He was not held back "because of his age".. I truly Appreciated that. As a educator myself I believe children who are not challenged become idle and idle children become behavior problems. They have continued to provide him with academic stimulation. They're after school program is superb, he does karate, dance, and music.they also have a theater department where the students perform two shows a year. I love this school they are a full service environment. They also welcome parental involvement.Parent Review12y ago1 Reviews
