"I been in this area for 10 months, depend on what area of merrionette Park your in, there’s nice neighbors but then there theses that watch your belongings. My husband car was vandalized with trash 2 weeks ago and the police did nothing about it also their are many teenagers that comes from other area to cause issues. But this is only if you live in the apartment buildings "

"Very safe and clean and friendly neighborhood. Village invites Santa to deliver candy canes every december by going door to door and village has halloween parade each October 31st where the children get to walk in the parade and the home owners stand curb side and hand out candy. Schools are great and interested in community and devoted to education. Love it here. WIsh we did not have to move."

"Merrionette Park is a little known suburb I've had the pleasure of living in for about 6 years. Walking distance to a large shopping center, the best nightlife with bourbon street, the best youth baseball program in IL. There's families with young kids, singles, couples, and a lot of retirees living here. It's a great mix!"
