"Need to know the safe area. Need alot of polices to watch the shooters out here. It is not safe for kids and adults to walk outside at night. Need a better community for the neighborhood. "

"My neighborhood is mostly quiet every now and then you have the trouble makers act a fool. But not to often it’s a walkable area and dog friendly the commute is great. You have serval bus line options to take you to and from downtown and the red line extension. Which is about 30-45 min ride"

"I think dog owners will like that their are sidewalks to walk their dogs. I really don't know anything else because I can't have a dog anymore. A dog owner doesn't like that there are no dog parks in the neighborhood. "

"this community is a very different Community to live in it is a community where now everybody is learning more about the technology and learning more about putting cameras up you would never know who will help your neighbor to understand you don't have to be afraid you just have to know how to use the new technology up a new billennium of 2020 knowledge is power and I share my knowledge with the community so the community could know you don't have to show your face when it's a crime on the scene or somebody house is getting robbed because that's everywhere. I shared knowledge knowledge is power. that's what makes this community special to me it will be back normal"

"it would be nice to have a trail, walking. but it's not feasible. it would be nice to walk your dog down some streets where they wont get hurt, ex: step on glass, metal or nails to name a few. "

"This area is not for kids. A lot of drug dealers everywhere, guys love to hang at the local Citgo, I never let my son walk to the store by himself, nor my daughters. When my car was down, I use to take the bus and metra, and a man followed me, one morning!! He was about to attack me, until another guy stop him, police was called but he ran away. I broke my lease and moved!!!!!"

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student my mental health was at its absolute worst during my time at Whistler. School sometimes seems as if run like a prison in the sense that they only work to fix not prevent they only fix a issue if it caused a problem or if a complaint has been made. The middle school teachers are nice, I can’t quite speak for the other grade groups. Lots of unreported bullying goes on at this school however that is subject to change as students come and go. Some of the systems at this school are corrupted and this school is probably the most basic education you can offer a child.Other Review1y ago4 Reviews - Colemon J Elementary Academy

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are alot of breakdowns in proper communication:1. My nephew was taken from the school on a school bus and then walked to another park without notice to his parents. There was no permission slip only a robo call day of.2. Activity practice and games are canceled without notice. Leaving kids waiting outside for parents. 3. Kids are able to sign up for activities with no permission slip.4.
