"There are. Lot of parks so dogs can be walked in a lot of different areas. The parks are big as well so there is a lot of space for the dogs"

"I drive and if I don’t drive I catch the bus on Roosevelt and Central Park . It’s the best commute from my home . From transportation to expressway and even walking. There are two parks I. Walking distances and so much more . I wish there was a better grocery store located near us . "

"I grew up in the south side so little village has always been home to me. It sucks it’s getting gentrified, a lot of people that make it feel like home have left. I always felt safe here and the neighbors have always done their part to keep things clean "

"If you absolutely NEED to use public transportation it’s definitely available. My drive to downtown is usually 13-15 minutes with no traffic using the expressway but during rush hour it can take 25-30 minutes. There are buses and train nearby. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 4 months and it's a nightmare. When I moved in the first month there was a drive-by shooting where someone died. Then about 2 weeks to a month later another one happened. Lots of police presence, not a safe neighborhood for your children. Please beware of your surroundings."

"The area is okay, but crime is terrible. Make sure to have kids play in the yard and not so much on the front due to craziness. There are lots of stores and schools plus great transportation, which is a plus! "

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former student of Dvorak, I don't believe it's the staff that's failing the children, perhaps it's our children not willing to be taught. I graduated in the class of 1980, I am leading a successful life, therefore don't blame the teachers, it's up to us as parent's to make sure our kids are doing their school work as well as homework. Teachers can only do so much, so get off the backs of the staff, and take a look and see what you can do as a parent to help your child.Other Review11y ago3 Reviews - Kellman Corporate Community Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKellman Staff and teacher are awesome. What people fail to realize is that parents are teachers FIRST and then the teacher are there to aid us. The school is a great place to send your kids.. a family atmosphere. Can't wait to bring my 3 year old into the program!!! It takes a village.Other Review9y ago6 Reviews - Herzl Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was terrible. I was sa’d and they did nothing. Not to mention a girl following me home everyday trying to fight me bc her bf wanted me. The principal was aware and did nothing the girl and me fought over 8 times due to her putting her hands on me. I don’t even remember learning anything the teacher was horrible and allowed her to bully me but when I stood up for myself they would punish me.Other Review9mo ago4 Reviews
