"I have lived here for 2 1/2 years. I Bought my house in 2019, planning to sell and move to the suburbs. My block is quiet but most blocks over here are not. Guys hang out on corners still. My car was broken into last month. Can’t wait to get out of here. "

"I live on a quiet block but I wouldn’t walk around here. Public parking is always available. My son isn’t allowed outside after 8. "
  • Lashonda D. J.
"cta is right around the corner from my house but the buses are hardly ever on time. That's how I get to work and anywhere else I want to go. "

"You can’t park your cars anywhere cause drunk drivers like to play bumper cars. My parked car was totaled on Christmas Eve. Drug dealers sit in front of the house ALL DAY and have taken over the park. A young girl was killed on the corner last summer. Not an area for kids period!"
  • Shannon T.
"Family lives here. They hate it. It's not a neighborhood. The schools need more resources. It's loud and only some take care of their property."
  • Anitra P.

  • Marshaund M.
"I don't live in Austin but I work there. It's a great place to live and work. It's also a nice place to visit. There are good restaurants and plenty of shopping."
  • Chillymost4229
"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 40 years. Most of the older neighborhoods have passed away and the young people in the area are loud and disrespectful. We need more owners to occupy the properties."
  • Ignatius R.
