"Itās a heavily dog friendly city, and some owners are extremely responsible and some are not. I would caution any large green space may mean off leash dogs who are either trained very well or not at all"

"Iāve lived here for 2 years total (1 year in 2019, and this year 2024). Areas fun but pretty expensive. Surprisingly a lot of great asian food but lacking a solid pizza spot. Over fine to live here, but wouldnāt be living hear if I wasnāt lucky enough to have scored a cheap apartment "

"The HOA is a downside of having this aera your neighbors are too close. Keeping your kids out of the lake or drowning would be a construct reminder"

"There is still a lot of original character and flavor in this neighborhood. Still host to several well-established ethnic / cultural minority residents, whose language and foods flow through the air at any restaurant or cafe, perfuming the ambiance with enough spice to attract both locals and foreign alike."

There are so many dogs in the area as well and it seems like a great place to walk them and make sure they get socialization. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has passed to third grade and I am so happy her achievements in her new school which is amazing, in this school she was in second grade and she was constantly bullied, my special child was mistreated very bad by the teacher and her substitute echos I myself stop one day due to talk to me in a nasty way in front of other parents about my special child behavior. The worst school Iāve ever dealt with with.Parent Review2mo ago41 Reviews - Greeley Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe sent our son here for Pre-K during the 2025-2026 school year and Iām so glad we did! The teacher, Mrs. Gina, is extraordinary. She has been teaching at Greeley for 20+ years and is the perfect balance of firm and loving with the children. I have watched all of the kids thrive under her careāall writing their names within months of school and now on to learning concepts of reading. I love all the family engagement activities at school and sense of community. All of the staff know my sonās nameāfrom the Spanish teacher to the music teacherāand seem invested in his growth. This school is also much more diverse than other Lakeview schools and has the best hours from 9am-4pm. So happy with our choice!!Parent Review3mo ago19 Reviews - Hamilton Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe pulled our son out of a private school after bullying went unchecked and we placed him in Hamilton. It was the best decision we ever made. Not only is he excelling academically and socially but also emotionally. The school teaches (preventative) conflict resolution using proven coping tools like deep breathing and reflection forms. In fact, my 11-year old son now encourages me to use deep breathing:)Parent Review11mo ago25 Reviews - Jahn Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe days of Nettlehorst being a THE neighborhood school to send your children to are over. Safety and bullying are are deep concern. The decline begins in 5th grade. It is no surprise that there are multiple pieces of negative feedback that are echoed. I wonder how budget cuts will effect the already impacted school.Teacher Review3mo ago33 Reviews - Kc's Academy Of Early Childhood Education
