"Apt allows cats, why not small dogs, people sometimes need service dogs, or just regular smaller dogs, if the apt isn't big enough for a medium or larger dog."

"dogs are welcomed in my neighborhood. pet owners just need to clean after them. Also, if they see another dog being walked by their owner cross the street to avoid an attack from that other dog "

"Safe! There’s lots of parks, schools and churches. Easy to get around. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Parking is tough if you don’t have a garage. Taxes are low compared to other parts of the city."

"Lots of renovations and construction going on. Area definitely on a upswing! Wide range of homes in price and size. Decent taxes. Most homes and blocks are well kept, some better than others. Many schools and parks. Lots of places to eat and shop close by. Not a lot of crime But you still have to be careful your in the CITY. Kinda loud at times with weekend yard parties or cars bumping and thumping. Litter is one thing we could do a better job of! KEEP IT CLEAN PEOPLE!. Have lived in the area for over 30years. Very diverse. Central location in the City makes it easy to get around. It’s the people who make a neighborhood great! Let’s do our part people.."

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Falconer for first through sixth grade (2006-2012) I gotta say, this is one of the best schools I have ever been to. The teachers are very nice and helped me a lot. I had made so many great memories here and would like to come back. The summer after sixth grade I was very depressed because I didn't want to move. I had become so close to everyone, the students, teachers, and even the security guards. :') I LOVE Falconer and I am very happy that my little sister is going there too. I don't regret ever going there and would recommend others to go there too.Other Review11y ago6 Reviews - Lloyd Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe education is great, my daughter has learned alot. Her teacher is sweet and very caring. Very greedy!!! All they want is your money. They don't charge her for using the bathroom because they don't know how much toilet paper she uses. They would rather throw away the food rather than give her some if I don't pay the extra $5 a month. Very unorganized, this year's Christmas show was a nightmare.Parent Review14y ago2 Reviews - St Genevieve School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChoosing a school for your child has always been a difficult decision since your choice will be directly reflected in his or her development- academically, spiritually, and socially. My husband and I agonized from the time my daughter was 3 until she was 5 over where to send her. We are a young married couple and financially didn't believe we could afford a Catholic school. However, after examining carefully the CPS schools in our area-and the inherent problems of overcrowded classrooms, exceedingly low academic test scores, bullying and the like, our choice became clear, and we chose St. Ladislaus School. It has been the most endearing decision we have made together. From day one as kindergarten began, my daughter has returned home every day with a sense of wonder and a thirst for learning. The academic progress she has shown is nothing short of remarkable. Smaller class sizes, devoted and caring teachers, an exciting new reading and math program to begin this year, and a principal who has worked with us tirelessly to assist with our financial tuition dilemna only reinforces the correctness of our choice. I strongly recommend St. Ladislaus school.Parent Review11y ago12 Reviews
