St Genevieve School

Three stars based on the negative attitudes of the parents. Strict teachers? Horrible Principle? Too much homework? Maybe not enough homework, and not strict enough? I saw the percentages of absentees for one and saw the majority of the ones absent. Hmm, but they do nothing wrong. Just ask them when they get in trouble on the street.I went to that school in the late 50's early 60's. To hear what you people are saying is disgraceful! Parents start doing your parental jobs and straighten those kids out. Yep! Get strict. I feel sorry for the few kids and their parents that really want an education. This could be a great school. I know because as I said it was when I went there. Sad.. very sad. And no! I am not a teacher.

The students really enjoy coming to school and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming.

my daughter went to this school pre k - 5th and it was her worse experience ever she was being sent from counselor to counselor and the counselor does no help at all the most she did was get the principal to yell at her and her friends then talking about he wouldn’t even allow the behavior my child did i’m sorry mr salgado but are you her parent? no so stop acting like you were 2nd of all my child’s behavior was the best she could have don’t she was a honor roll had the highest star 360 out of anyone in her class. so i do not condone you talking about my child. and no one who works is here a kind soul every teacher they hire WILL yell at your child for a dumb reason.

PRINCIPAL DOESN’T DO HER JOB NEITHER DOES THE ASSISTANT DO NOT RECOMMENT YOUR CHILDREN AREN’T SAFE HERE !!!

My daughter went to this school for 3 years and overall experience it was pretty great ther was some accidents but the teacher was always sure to be communicative and helpful about the resources of the school that they can give the the student overall the teachers were always nice and supportive about making sure the students always had the help they need the rules about safety and making sure all parents are aware of any situation in school was what made me feel safe and secure about my child learning and safety I would high recommend this school to any parent who wants to enroll their child here no doubt about it

Belmont-Cragin is a place of innovative learning. Students use exercises to release neurotransmitters for making connections and real learning.

My child attended Prieto and we really loved the teachers he had for Pre-K. The security guard is so great with the kids and sometimes plays football with them in the mornings. Teachers use ClassDojo to communicate with parents. Office staff is super friendly and communicative. We get many emails and voicemails from the school with awareness of everything going on.
