" Neighborhood garage sale days, lots of Christmas cheer with lights, decorations. Halloween is great for the kids here. Park, disc golf course, dog park, and trails all in walking distance. Lots of grocery options, good restaurants, pharmacy, and hospitals under 5 minutes away. Plus Interquest area is very close and tons of new dining and shopping there "

"Food trucks are the only thing lately. Could use a better rec center in this neighborhood. Also the lake needs revising. Many issues with not being able to get to the water. "

"Community fencing doesnāt allow privacy so dogs who bark or jump high will be difficult to have. Only wore fencing allowed along the split rails. "

"Great family location and more āup-scaleā not super stuffy tho. Pain to get anywhere south or downtown with less than a 20 minute drive. Definitely worth the little more in price "

"Totally a car city. Briargate is a planned residential community near to the Air Force Academy. 20 minutes to downtown, but Colorado Springs is a very long city along the mountains. I would not live here if you work at Peterson or Ft Carson. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrontier is an amazing elementary school with a wonderful and supportive administration and staff. The teachers and staff are dedicated, inclusive and caring, and committed to helping students achieve success both academically and socially. They have award winning teachers, small class sizes, and robust extra curricular & specials activities such as yearbook club, choir, STEM lab, musical productions, talent show, field day, art club, and math club. There is a great partnership between families and teachers/staff where parents and caregivers are engaged and welcomed. I truly love this community school!Parent Review10mo ago15 Reviews - Explorer Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExplorer elementary has declined over the years in providing a good learning environment for their students to grow and excel. The teacher turn over is very high and has occurred several time during the school year causing students to not have proper instruction and causing them to fall behind in learning the grade level material. It has become a very mediocre school with no growth for its students as seen in their testing scores. The administration falls shorts in many areas in caring for students, and helping them excel. The administration also does not provide great parental support when concerns are brought to their attention. There are far better district 20 schools to enroll your child if you are looking for a school.Parent Review4mo ago21 Reviews - Academy Endeavour Elementary School
