"Not too many grass patches on the sidewalk. Lots of hills might be hard for some smaller breeds. There are some dog parks within less than a mile though. "

"Very dog friendly with lots of people walking dogs and parks such as Marina green and crissyfield beach "

"Lots of fantastic workout studios, shopping and restaurants. You’re soo close to golden gate and fort mason. Really the best neighborhood for young 20-30’s. "

"Great little part of SF where you can raise a family, be active, get lots of places quickly, and feel a sense of place "

"I love that a 10-15 minute walk in any direction from Eastern Cow Hollow gets you to another great neighborhood. You have Russian Hill and the Polk St corridor to the east, the Marina/Marina Green/Chrissy Field and the Chestnut St corridor to the north, the Fillmore St corridor to the south, and of course, our own Union St corridor. Being in the northern part of the city is great for getting out quickly via the Golden Gate Bridge -- trips to Marin County and Wine Country are super easy. Tech shuttles run routes just a few blocks away. It's the best located, safest, and prettiest neighborhood, in my opinion!"

"Loved living in Cow Hollow - close to Van Ness. Not deep into the Marina (which sometimes feels like a black hole where people who live their never venture outside), but still has the same feel with lots of small buildings and long, vertical apartments/condos. Easy to jog over the the beach along the Marina for a nice long run to Golden Gate Bridge or to hop on Van Ness and head to the southern end of the city for the many restaurants in the Mission. Union Street in Cow Hollow can be fun, but also pretty jam packed with young partygoers. If you can find an affordable place in Cow Hollow, it's a nice spot to be."

"I moved to Cow Hollow in June 2016 and I lived right up the hill from there from 2010 to 2014. I really love this neighborhood because of how walkable it is. I can easily head to Union St., Polk St., or Chestnut with my husband and my dog to grab a bite to eat or browse the local shops. Frequently on weekends, I'll take my dog to Crissy Field (beach), where many very friendly pups and their responsible owners are out playing in the waves. I feel safe walking my dog at night, and I can easily get my exercise fix with my favorite yoga studio, Yoga Flow, and Soul Cycle within a 10 minute walk of my apartment. The neighbors are friendly, young professionals who enjoy a mimosa brunch on a nice Saturday."

"I have owned a second home in this area, for 25 years. It is a fabulous part of San Francisco. Very safe, good restaurants, shopping, etc. All in all, a wonderful place to be, and very little fog.....just sun and beautiful light of the city."
