"Great area, lovely views and kinda foggy. Not ideal for walking around too much since the hills are steep but amazing place to live in "

"Small, quite neighborhood with suburban feel. Great views from there him but you will need a car to get around."

"I’ve lived here for 6 months, I walk in the neighborhood every day, houses and yards are all well maintained, nice and quiet family environments, walking distance to restaurants, shops, banks, post office, library, parks, playgrounds, and metro station and bus stops. This area is purged high in between the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific, so most houses have ocean view. Close to Highway 280 & 101."

"I visted my friend there. Love this location. Very close to Westportal where nice restaurants and shops are. Very safe area, too."

"Sherwood Forest on Mt. Davidson is remote, cab drivers seldom recognize the area. Quiet, peaceful, and friendly. Nearby Muni bus service. Closest neighborhood is West Portal, with Muni Metro access to rest of city. Nearby groceries, small shops, and restaurants are Mollie Stone's on Portola and Safeway on Monterey. Bengal Alley, a public right-of-way between Lansdale Avenue and Miraloma Way is being renovated and will be safe and beautiful, planted per Permaculture precepts with food, including fruit and berries, and habitat"
