"I tell we do not have many well except we had this summer event a fair in the culver park area - not all that maintained but still felt safe - the police were of no help we we asked for proper bike parking "

"Although Culver City is an amazing area, nearing PLENTIFUL restaurants and movie theaters (nightlife), you do begin to see things change nearing Clarkdale. It's not drastic, and I feel safe here, but it seems the closer you get to Venice Boulevard, the more homeless people and trash you come across. This is because it becomes LA. Oddly enough, we have an underpass (under the freeway) on Venice boulevard near a newly added Shell Gas station. On opposite sides of the street, there's a huge difference. One side belongs to LA, while the other is Culver City. The Culver City side, literally directly across from the LA side is totally clear and patrolled by police. Meanwhile, directly across, is a slew of people with tents that LA miserably fails to help support, the homeless. Just feet away from each other is a major difference, we had a shooting on the LA side recently. It's really unfortunate. Despite what I have to say about the last few blocks on the outskirts of Culver city (Clarkdale), this city is lively, busy, and loving. All us neighbors look out for each other, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Parents look out for EVERY CHILD on the way into school, and monitor as they exit the gates at the end of the day. I've always known my neighbors by name, and feel completely safe walking alone at night without having any issues. It's a wonderful area to raise teenagers for the kid friendly nightlife scene (Culver Crossroads, Movie theaters). Safe. "

"This hood is legitness. I most def respek my block and all my homies who stay out here. I’ve been putting in work in this hood for a cool minute now and I’m getting ready to cop my own crib soon. We all fam around here and there’s a lot of good peeps. With that said it’s a nice and diverse neighborhood. The streets are safe and well illuminated. "
