10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis may be the best elementary school in the country. The teachers and staff are amazing, the pupils are amazing children, and the community spirit is like none I’ve ever seen. Living in Crestline is very expensive but it is worthwhile for my three children to enjoy being at Crestline.Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Mt Brook Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved our kids into the school system from a private school. They made an easy transition, and I found the academics just as challenging. I did not grow up in Alabama, but everyone was very welcoming. A great sense of community- amazing teachers, counselors and administrationOther Review2y ago6 Reviews - Vestavia Hills Elementary School East

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have a fifth grader and kindergartner at Cahaba Heights and we love the school. The teachers are all amazing. Our fifth grader has been there since she was in kindergarten and we haven’t had a bad experience. Our youngest daughter actually had a small hole in her eardrum that affected her hearing and ultimately her ability to learn certain sounds and the school not only spotted it, but are actively correcting it with an on site specialist. I honestly feel like Cahaba Heights is a hidden gem. The community is awesome and convenient and the families are laid back and welcoming.Parent Review4y ago2 Reviews - Southminster Day School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSDS is a great school full of great teachers and a wonderful director who cares about every student in the school. SDS gives opportunities to kids practicing public speaking, leadership, reading and summarizing / writing reports, geography, Saxon math (great choice). Weekly they have small projects to return. And the best part that kids are writing cursive every project they return, so they know how to use / hold pencil in their hands (and you hear from parent who has a corporate job and using laptop all day long).SDS is a big family! Great school!Parent Review2mo ago8 Reviews - Islamic Academy Of Alabama

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school. I would wholeheartedly not recommend this place to anyone. The administration is unfair and openly discriminatory, and students with special needs are treated horribly. Instead of providing support and proper education, they damage students’ confidence and negatively affect them long term. Favoritism is a serious issue here, and students are not treated equally or based on merit. The school prioritizes certain groups over others rather than creating a fair and respectful environment for everyone. Please warn others to avoid this school. Their treatment of students, lack of proper support, and poor educational environment show they do not deserve to enroll more students.Other Review4mo ago8 Reviews
