I have never seen a school in MCPS who cares about their students quite like Brookhaven ES. I wish I could have my son stay here but sadly, he is in 5th grade this year. I highly recommend this school because they care about their students not only academically, but also, emotionally. I will never forget one time, I have received a phone call from one of the teacher telling me how my son was acting different about two days in a row. And I know my son is a very active and positive child. So I went to talk to him and he shared what was bothering him and I gave him my advise and since then I felt more connected to him at his age. I knew then, I wasn’t absent on that stage of his life. And I thank them because they are very involved with the students and parents. I love this school, I have way too many stories why this is a perfect school to get your child start up with. Go bobcats!
