About this House

A Jewel of Old World Elegance. Built in 1926 and faithfully maintained, this prized Spanish Colonial Revival home rests in the heart of the Rossmoyne Historic District, one of Glendale's most consequential and sought-after neighborhoods. Timeless stuccoed architecture and terracotta roof tiles establish an inviting character which continues inside the home, infused throughout with touches of stained glass, period detail and graceful arches. Covered entry gives way to a soaring, two-story living room adorned with a fireplace, exposed beams and a floor-to-ceiling picture window welcoming light into the space. A breakfast room and the formal dining room, currently used as a family room, present options for entertaining. The kitchen is finished in soothing, natural textures of granite countertops, tile backsplash, and rich wood cabinetry, with a suite of quality stainless-steel appliances, storage pantry and adjoining powder room. Three secondary bedrooms, one upstairs, are each served by a full hall bath with double sinks. The upstairs work-from-home office conveniently connects to your primary suite through the en-suite bath. Outside, an expansive, sun-kissed terrace is equipped with a built-in grill for outdoor entertaining set among tranquil fountains, mosaic art and succulent gardens. Tucked behind your private-gated driveway is a detached two-car garage finished with flooring and laundry. All in a coveted location only blocks away from charming Nibley Park and playground, local dining and shopping hotspots, downtown Glendale and freeways. An ageless beauty for modern tastes, this property is truly one-of-a-kind.

"Calm, friendly and safe area. Our kids can walk to school or anywhere they need to go. There are many neighbours walking with dogs, but it’s still clean on the streets. The park is close to go but there’s no lights after the sunset. "
  • Migdia C.
"Lots of groomed leashed dogs in the area most are well mannered — I would make sure drivers on mountain cone to a full stop before crossing "
  • Migdia C.
"I’ve lived here for many years and own a historic home -/ it’s a gorgeous safe neighborhood of established trees and well kept upscale properties. Short drive to amenities and parks "
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood goes all out for Halloween. The happening areas are near enough to walk to. There are a lot of trees lining the streets, and it’s great for jogging."
  • Destiny E.
"Rossmoyne is a wonderful area to have and walk a dog. However, there are many coyotes around so you must be aware and carful too. "
  • Predi G.
"Not only parents also pet owners. There are a lot of cayoties living around here make sure to use leash for the dogs and be careful of kids if you have a back yard. "
  • Mariam Z.
"I lived here for 2 years. Very clean area with nice neighbors. Spacious living and safe feeling. Police always patrol around the area too and you feel good knowing they are around "
  • Ian A.
"It’s a very nice, quiet neighborhood. People are generally friendly, not necessarily super outgoing but nice. It’s clean."
  • Rpetevanderveen
"Great parks, purple walking all day and evening, lots of dogs, nice ethnic mix of residents, eclectic houses, no two the same, very safe, friendly neighbors, close to freeways, downtown, laid back, high level of home maintenance, mature trees everywhere "
  • Rpetevanderveen
"I've lived in this neighborhood for almost a decade. I have great neighbors, we watch out for each other and every one is friendly. I often walk the neighborhood at night and have never felt unsafe. I walk to the grocery store, downtown, to the post office, to the park, to restaurants, etc. Everyone is friendly and greets each other. I like the fact that the neighborhood is very eclectic, diverse, quiet, and everyone maintains their homes and lawns and gardens. I have had numerous wild animals in my yard, including coyotes, deer, raccoons, a lynx, and opossum, but have never been concerned. It's a great place!"
  • Ladub M.
"Has gotten worse over the last 3-4 years. No accessible metro train to Hollywood and Beverly Hills. So seems public transportation is available to downtown la commuters."
