We have a room available to rent. The large 115 sqft sized room. The room is 750.00 a month in rent plus utilities. The house is up a few flights of stairs from the street, which makes it feel quite private and secluded compared to many other places. Neighbors are quiet and easy to get along with when we occasionally see them. Window unit air conditioning provided by the landlord, with oil heat pipe for heating. Rent for the room is $750.00/month, with utilities ranging from $70-90 a month, plus a quarterly water bill. Upstairs bathroom was just redone. Washer and dryer in the basement.

The ideal housemate will be easy to get along with, clean (and chip in with keeping common spaces clean), respectful, and quiet late at night. You can keep to yourself or be social and we'll respect that. 5-10 minute drive from Trader Joes, Safeway, Whole Foods, Giant, CVS, downtown Silver Spring, and ~18 minutes from UMD with traffic. 0.9 miles from the beltway so it's super easy to get places!

First month's rent ($750.00) and $650 security deposit due at signing.

    "Quiet, tree-lined, seconds to two Beltway exits to access everything.. Walk to neighborhood schools, starbucks, ethnic and other restaurants and supermarkets. One mile walk, bus ride, bike or drive to vibrant downtown Silver Spring, also short bus, bike or drive to old Takoma Park. Inside the beltway makes commute to downtown DC easy. Son who attended racially, economically diverse school now teaches there. We intend to retire here, move to condo or rambler, what more could we want? (OK, escape heat in summer, visit CA friends in winter!)"
